Veronika K.:Mi segunda semana en España

Unbelievable, but week two is already over! Angelina and I did a lot of cool things that I am going to tell you about.

On Tuesday, we visited the Moco Museum, which focuses on modern art. We saw very nice pictures from artists all over the world. My favorite ones were by Robin Kid, a contemporary artist. His art is not only nice to look at but also brings an important message to me. Other artists featured included Banksy, Andy Warhol, and Marina Abramović. There was also a room full of shining diamonds, which was perfect for taking some pictures.

We also went to a "free concert" by Jessie J! On Saturday, there was Pride in Barcelona where everyone celebrated their sexuality and the freedom to love whoever they choose. The main act was Jessie J, and she performed all of her most famous songs like "Bang Bang" and "Price Tag."

On Saturday, our friend Lorena finally arrived in Barcelona. She wanted to come on Friday, but because of the Microsoft problem, her flight got canceled. Together with her, we then went to Sitges the next day. Sitges is a charming coastal town about 30 minutes away from Barcelona, known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and artistic heritage. The sea there is very clear, and there are fewer tourists compared to Barcelona, which makes it a perfect getaway. We spent the day exploring the narrow streets, enjoying the local cuisine, and relaxing on the pristine beaches.

I have to say, although I did really fun and interesting things, I am also missing my family and friends a lot. This is good because now I know how much they really mean to me and how important it is for me to have the right people around. Nevertheless, we have many things planned for the next two weeks, which I am already excited to tell you about.
