Hej it’s me again, Theresa! I want to give you a quick review of the three weeks I have already spent in Stockholm. But I haven’t just spent the last three weeks working, sightseeing and shopping. In Södermalm, the trendy and vibrant district, you’ll find a range of international and innovative eateries. Kvarnen is a good place for traditional Swedish dishes. Kvarnens Köttbullar are the best in Stockholm. Near our flat in Södermalm, there is an Italian restaurant named “Da Luigi”, it serves delicious pizza and pasta dishes.
Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town, is rich in history and character. There are plenty of restaurants and bars on every corner here. But if you walk into the heart of Gamla Stan, you'll find one of the most delicious bakeries in the old town. Fika and Wine has the most delicious cinnamon buns and is a great place to have a fika (in Sweden, fika is a coffee break, which the Swedes take very seriously, even when working). If you want to dine high up on top of the roofs of Stockholm and enjoy the view, you should definitely try out one of the rooftop bars.
Both Södermalm and Gamla Stan provide a diverse and vibrant food scene, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
