Halftime! The second week was also fantastic like the first one. Basically I went swimming every day, tried a lot of Greek food and we met up with other Austrians who are also doing Erasmus+ projects in Crete.
Work was a lot of fun and relaxed as always. This week 2 Germans joined Watersports, who are pretty chilled and it is fun to have two other German-speaking people at work.
We visited the Enetikón Froúrion Rocca a Mara, a very famous fortress in Heraklion. It is a museum and you can go on top of the fortress and have a beautiful view over Heraklion. The entrance was for free. Saturday was a relaxing day, we did exactly nothing! However, Sunday was quite eventful as we travelled to Agios Nikolaus, a well-known-city on the island. We explored the beautiful city and then had a delicious meal at a traditional Greek restaurant. Finally, we went for a swim at Voulisma Beach before heading home.
