Well, here I am again. By now I have lost count at which week we are standing. However... Things are still moving and I am enjoying Italy all the same! This week I had to finish up my work on a timetable and two presentations. Initially, I should have been holding the presentations on Friday, but my superior got sick and we now moved it to another date. Not much really happened during the week, except for the fact, that I am getting back into my training routine. For the weekend I then decided to follow the recommendation of a fellow classmate (Thank you Bettina!), to go to Sirmione, which is at the Garda Lake. It is a small village/town that has a stripe of land which is extending into the lake.
When you walk up to the top of the stripe, you will see a small white castle at the end which is really beautiful! Also, the buildings there, in general, are really clean with very warm colors.
What has to be mentioned however is the fact there were a lot of tourists and you could see that this was one of the places where the wealthier people spend their time. It is still extremely beautiful and definitely worth a visit!
