Marton: Travailler à Bordeaux

The second week's conclusion already marks the half-time of this Erasmus+ adventure.

While not quite as eventful as the last, I started working on Monday, and still got to know new people and went out in my free time.

I work at a company called Japannext, a major monitor manufacturer in their respective market, only having established the European branch this year. My work consists mostly of marketing and translation - the office is new and the colleagues are very nice. Often, there is complementary breakfast, even.

Other than that, we visited the Darwin festival again this Wednesday and went out to the city or met up at one of our guest families' houses almost every evening. In the second half of the week, we spent a lot of time with our new friends, fellow Erasmus+ interns, with whom we watched the final game of the European Championship yesterday. On Saturday, as an even larger group, we payed a visit to an extremely interesting Van Gogh "exhibition" in a museum which used to be a submarine dock during the Second World War.

All in all, it was a great week and I am looking forward to the second half of the experience!
