The third week has come to an end and with only one more week to go we made sure to enjoy every day.
We started the third week by going on a sailing trip to the island Dia. For me it was my first time on a sailing boat and at first it felt a bit weird. But I got used to it pretty quickly and the trip was really enjoyable. We were served food on the boat and were able to go for a swim in the ocean. On our way back we watched the breathtaking sunset.
The rest of the week we mainly enjoyed the beach and the warm weather. On Friday however Denny, a friend of ours, came to visit over the weekend. On Saturday all of us went on a trip to west Crete where we visited the city Chania, the lake Kournas, where we rented a pedal boat and saw turtles swimming in the lake and we also visited the city Rethimno. Both cities were very beautiful and definitely worth a visit. But the bus ride there and back was exhausting since it was really hot that day and the AC in the bus did not work properly.
On Sunday we had a relaxing day at home and watched the Darts World Matchplay finals.
On Monday morning we said goodbye to Denny and now I am looking forward to an awesome last week here in Crete.
