Today, we had our last work day, and it was a bittersweet experience. Saying goodbye to our co-workers, with whom we had developed such close friendships, was tough. We had a fantastic time at the workplace, and they even offered us the chance to stay for the entire season. However, we had to decline the offer as we had already made plans for the remaining holiday. During our last week here, we've been busy souvenir shopping and savoring our final days by eating delicious pasta and enjoying our last Aperols! I believe I can speak for both of us when I say that our emotions are mixed as we contemplate returning home. We are both sad and happy at the same time. On one hand, we have to leave this beautiful city, and the experiences we've had will live on only in our memories. On the other hand, we are excited to reunite with our friends and family and resume our day-to-day lives.
