Hej from Sweden,
almost the second week is over but it feels like it is Monday. After the last blogs you may wonder, if we are only on holiday? Of course not. I am working at Palfinger AB in Jordbro, a small town south of Stockholm. It is very convenient because the train station is very close to our flat.
After the 30 trip we arrive in Jordbro, a small town south of Stockholm. Palfinger’s office is the industrial area next to Volvo for example and Coca Cola. There they are producing the Cola for all northern European countries. But back to my work. I am working in the Palfinger workshop. Here they are repairing and servicing all kind of Palfinger cranes. Sometime I am helping them in the workshop. It is cool because I see how an crane works. I also organised the warehouse as they moved to this location last December and there were still some boxes waiting for unpacking. Furthermore, I am working in the office and doing some paperwork and analysis.
On Monday the whole team made a barbecue for lunch. This was really delicious and I got to know my colleagues better. Speaking about them, they are really friendly and show me a lot. I get a really good insight.
The best thing was definitely the “ride” on a platform. I went 30 metres in the air and the view was amazing.
Besides work we did a lot and enjoyed the great weather.
