¡Hola a todos!
El tiempo vuela, ahora ya ha pasado la mitad de mi estancia en Barcelona. Esta semana ha estado llena de actividades emocionantes.
This week my work was nothing like I imagined it. At the dancing school they are preparing for their next performance: Barbie! For this they need props which I had to create. It was a lot of fun to experience working with different materials and techniques in a creative way.
What did we do in our free time this week?
Again we visited some important as well as impressive sights. "Plaça de Toros" or also called "Monumental" is an antique bullring, that is now used for different concerts.
In "Parc de la Ciutadella" we watched people dancing in the evening.
One day we visited "Moco Museum", were we saw an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art.
A great place to relax after work is "Parc del Laberint d'Horta". It is a beautiful park outside of the city with a labyrinth. We successfully found our way out. :) Afterwards we went to the beach as there was an open-air cinema.
"Mercat del Born" was an old farmers' market and now we can visit there ancient Roman walls as well as different temporary exhibitions.
On Friday our friend planned to come but due to technical issues her flight was cancelled so she came on Saturday. ¡Me encanta muchísimo que venga¡
In the evening we then went to Jessie J concert, it was just great!
On Sunday we visited Sitges, a small village just 45 minutes away from Barcelona.
