5BK Visit to Perho College, Helsinki - Day 5

In the morning we took a train to the Perho College. We finished our project, designing a marketing campaign for North Outdoor. Then, before the final presentations, we had lunch which the school kindly proved for us. In Finland every student gets a cooked meal for free at school. Every presentation was unique and it was very interesting to listen to the different ideas. All in all it was great to work in intercultural groups and get to know the Finnish culture better.

The Highlight of the day was the visit to Fazer Chocolate in the afternoon.

It was founded by Karl Fazer in 1891. He began with a small café in Helsinki, where he sold chocolates and pastries. Over the years, Fazer grew into a leading chocolate manufacturer in the Scandinavian countries.

During the tour we learned a lot about the company itself and how chocolate is made.

The highlight of the tour was tasting some delicious samples. It was a sweet ending to a productive day.
