We, the 5BK, are spending six exciting days in Helsinki and we want to share our experiences with you!
We are visiting our partner school, Perho College where we will be working with Finnish students on a peer learning international marketing project.
Saturday
Today we arrived in Helsinki in the early afternoon and dropped off our bags at “Hotel Arthur.”
First we visited Perho College's harvest market.
Mr. Crewe and Professor Kamml then took us on a relaxed walk to get a first impression of the city. Some of us even enjoyed a ride on the Ferris wheel near the harbour. We also spent an hour exploring a local food market in front of Helsinki Cathedral, offering a wide variety of food from different cultures. Later, we took a peaceful but windy walk through one of Helsinki’s beautiful parks, surrounded by nature. After about 1.5 hours outdoors, we had some free time before heading to “Amalfinus” restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
It was a perfect first day in Helsinki!
Many thanks to Erasmus+ and ALE for funding our trip!!!
